Understanding Our Regulatory Status
Regulatory frameworks in multiple jurisdictions define specific payment functions—such as initiation, facilitation, and technology enablement—as licensable activities. By clearly stating our role and territorial limitations, we provide transparency for customers and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Scope and Applicability
Services may be delivered by any company within the Cashfac group, including Cashfac PLC, Cashfac Pty, and Cashfac LLC (collectively, “Cashfac”). For clarity, only Cashfac PLC is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority for certain payment services. No other Cashfac entity delivers regulated activities; all operate solely as technical service providers.
Global Position
Cashfac provides technology solutions that support cash management and related processes for businesses and financial institutions.
Except where noted below, Cashfac operates solely as a technical service provider and does not perform regulated payment functions.
Cashfac does not hold customer funds, execute payments, or provide consumer banking services.
United Kingdom
Cashfac PLC is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority for Account Information Services (AIS) and Payment Initiation Services (PIS) under the Payment Services Regulations. These regulated activities apply only to services delivered by Cashfac PLC in the UK and may include Managed Service operations that support AIS/PIS functionality.

Any references to AIS/PIS relate only to UK-regulated activities delivered by Cashfac PLC.

European Union (EU)
Cashfac does not provide regulated payment services in the EU. Services may be delivered by any Cashfac group company. Our solution may be provided either through a bank (under its own branding) or directly to a corporate or other entity. In all cases, payment orders are initiated and executed by the customer through their own bank under the bank’s licence. Cashfac acts solely as a technical service provider.
Australia
Cashfac does not provide regulated payment services in Australia. Services may be delivered by any Cashfac group company, including Cashfac Pty. Our solution may be provided either through a bank (under its own branding) or directly to a corporate or other entity. In all cases, payment orders are initiated and executed by the customer through their own bank under the bank’s licence. Cashfac acts solely as a technical service provider.
United States
Cashfac does not provide regulated payment services in the United States. Services may be delivered by any Cashfac group company, including Cashfac LLC.
