Here is Cashfac’s update on services affected by the Global IT Outage
Our Managed Services, which are global, saw the issue at 06:00 GMT (15:00 AEST). We heard earlier today that the fault is inside Falcon CrowdStrike, a commonly used advanced malware and cyber security detection software, used also by Cashfac.
Our Livingston and Melbourne Managed Services teams have been in coordinated regular contact with Microsoft and with CrowdStrike since then.
We have DR generations that pre-date the offending CrowdStrike release, but applying our usual caution the first course of action is to bring our normal services up as access is resumed.
We are aware that this fault is affecting your business – we are on it continuously and around the clock – please bear with us as our Managed Services teams work closely with the vendors to resolve the situation.
